Aaliyah Ricketts is making history at Sproul Junior High. She is the first girl on the 8th grade football team to score a touchdown. On Tuesday, September 16 in the game against Atlas Prep, Aaliyah ran the ball for 20 yards into the end zone and scored for the Spartans. She is very humble and says it was a team effort. Aaliyah is also a star basketball player and runs track. Not only is she an amazing athlete, Aaliyah is an excellent student. She has straight A's, placed advanced on the TCAP, she is a peer mediator, and a member of the Sproul F.O.R. Club. Aaliyah's dream is to continue playing new sports in high school and college, and eventually become a doctor carrying on her family's tradition.†

2014-15 Bus Route Information
Beginning this school year the Transportation Department has launched Versatrans e-link to give parents and schools the ability to look up the most accurate bus information. This is a new way for families and schools to access transportation information, schedules, and routes. For security and efficiency reasons, we will no longer post bus routes on the Internet. The new student transportation online information system utilizes the latest routing technology to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and "real time" bus routing information.

For more information, visit the Transportation Department page.

Regards,
Chad Barksdale
Transportation Manager
